Yesterday the girls and I went to my 15 week appointment. I saw a nurse that I haven't seen since I was in for my 6 week follow-up after Leah, so that was neat. She's so nice, and she always remembers me, so it always makes me feel good. :) Stats for the day: weight 120 (I finally got my appetite back this weekend after being sick for two weeks!!), BP: 96/60, and heartbeat "sounds good."
Dr. Lisa and I talked about my 3 weeks of sickness, and she said the cold I have has been tricky this year. She says you get to feeling good again, then you get a sore throat or congested again. So, I'm not happy that this could be a continual thing.
Since they like to do the ultrasound at 20 weeks, I get to wait 5 weeks for my next appointment. After scheduling the ultrasound, I called Casey so he could mark his calendar, and I found out that he is going to be in England that week. Bummer! I am going to call and see if they will let me go 6 weeks, but I don't think they will, so I may have to see if Meryt has the day off from the zoo so she can go. I don't want to go by myself!
And a bonus this time..... Leah didn't cry when Dr. Lisa started using the doppler. :)
I am in some maternity clothes, but I can still fit into some of my pre-pregnancy pants, but pretty soon I'm going to need the maternity shorts and capris. Guess I need to trek out the unattached garage and find my tub of maternity clothes!
**Sorry for the red eyes. They drive me crazy, but I don't know what to do so I don't have them! :(
